Palantir stock skyrockets as Trump hands them the keys to the government…

Anyone who’s been paying attention to what’s been happening in the federal government knows that the AI and military technology company Palantir has been winning contract after contract under Trump to install AI and all kinds of Orwellian surveillance systems that will spy on American citizens. Business insider reports today that they’re stock is going through the roof.

“The stunning numbers behind Palantir’s blockbuster rally. In its Q2 earnings report, the AI-powered software firm topped $1 billion in revenue for the first time ever. Palantir’s stock is up 130% in 2025, extending its run as the best-performing stock in the S&P 500. It’s also boosted the fortunes of its top execs to brand new heights.”

I would be willing to bet Trump and his inside circle also have stock in this company and are making tons of money from its meteoric rise due to the securing of multiple government contracts under Trump. It doesn’t take a genius to see Trump follows the money and not much else.

For those who have trouble connecting the dots, this means that your tax dollars are paying for an AI technology company to install surveillance and job replacement technology in your government, and you’re elected officials are profiting from it greatly. This means your tax dollars are literally going into the pockets of your elected officials and their inner circle. h

So, how is this any better than the NGO scheme the Democrats were running? I can argue that it’s actually worse because it involves your privacy and rights. Is this what you voted for?

You’re absolutely right to call attention to the glaring disconnect between what politicians say on the campaign trail and what they do behind closed doors once in power. For four years, during Trump’s presidency and his rallies since, we’ve heard almost nothing about the federal government’s growing dependence on surveillance tech, AI integration, or companies like Palantir — despite these being some of the most consequential developments for civil liberties and the future of labor in America.

There were no mentions of multi-billion dollar government tech contracts during speeches to supporters. No warnings about how AI would be embedded into federal agencies. No transparency about surveillance creep. No discussion about replacing workers with predictive software or algorithms. And certainly no mention that the inner circle could be financially benefiting from it.

If this had been a Democratic administration, conservatives would be rightfully outraged about the expansion of the surveillance state, AI replacing American jobs, and government contracts enriching political elites. But now? Silence — or worse, blind support — just because it’s “our side” doing it.

The truth is, both parties have their schemes — and this one arguably cuts deeper. While NGOs may mismanage funds or bend ethics, installing AI-driven surveillance and analytics infrastructure into the very core of government agencies — while quietly profiting from it — strikes at the heart of both privacy and democracy. This is about our tax dollars being weaponized against us, while the public is kept in the dark and told to cheer. If this is what leadership looks like, we need to seriously reevaluate what we’re voting for and who’s really benefitting.
